10 rounds of meetings were held with LROs at Arrow Pen, scheduled across 28th and 30 March 2024. Key agenda and preparatory notes were distributed well in advance.

Two main discussion points were – (1) formation of cooperative housing societies with the groups now having preparedness to file in application; and (2) in light of last date (3 April 2024) to submit land owners’ objections and suggestions to Joint Director – Town Planning (Konkan Division, MS); to seek member LROs suggestions and inputs so as to prepare collective submission to JDTP.

Agenda-1 – Formation of cooperative housing societies

1. For groups where coop. societies are to be registered, members were invited to nominate themselves or each other to join the coop. management committee.
2. For groups where coop. societies are to be registered, members were invited to suggest name for the society.
3. For groups where coop. societies are to be registered, members were requested to cooperation in timely preparation of application – Target date if proper cooperation from member LROs received – 6 April 2024

Follow-up

1. Ms Rajlaxmi and Mr Ashok Prabhu took the responsibility to guide the members and facilitate the process.
2. Few suggested name were – Moksha, Park Rose, Vasundhara, Vastu Vihar, Gokul, Godhuli, etc.
3. Ms Rajlaxmi and Mr Ashok Prabhu, with help of Mr Mangesh shall be preparing society registration application as per timeline, including names, signatures of committee members list, supporting documents, etc. . Whichever society name is available / approved by the registrar, accordingly the society shall be named.

Agenda-2 – To submit land owners’ objections and suggestions to Joint Director – Town Planning (Konkan Division, MS)

From all groups, various suggestions for representing in our submission can be summed up as – (1) Requesting the planning agencies to clarify about the designated officer for sanctioning approvals for development in the transition period till CIDCO MMRDA have published the Final Plan for Third Mumbai, which may take many months (2) Requesting them to allow us (LROs and ArrowPen) to reserve land that town planning agencies could take over in due course and let us do the development in remaining land areas, (3) to ask for maximum possible FSI and TDR benefits and (5) to consider possible adoption from provisions of UDCPR

Follow-up

1. Arvind Agrawal, in coordination with the senior / executive members to prepare the draft of submission to JDTP before 01 April and coordinate for its timely submission from both – the society/groups and on behalf of Arrow Pen as their constituted partner. Target date for finalizing draft/redraft of submission – 01 April 2024
2. Update 1 – Letters to the Joint Director- Town Planning, Konkan Dvn. have been submitted on 3 April, and respected members may approach the following executive members to get a copy –
